This seminar will help the novice or intermediate shooter to develop confidence in utilizing a pistol mounted optic. The seminar will include a safety brief, review of proper holster draw, proper sight picture, use of the optic to develop precision shooting skills, warm-up drills, one hand shooting both dominant and non-dominant hand, and a variety of shooting drills to develop confidence in operating the pistol mounted optic. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering. Required Equipment: -Quality functional semi-automatic pistol with pistol mounted optic – Full size and compact pistols only (semi-auto center fire pistols only. -Revolvers or .22 caliber pistols are not allowed)-Minimum 200 rounds of ammunition-3 magazines-Magazine pouch (optional)-Dominant side, hip-mounted holster or dominant side, belt-mounted holster (No cloth or nylon holsters. No ankle or shoulder holsters)-Please wear long pants with pockets and belt loops, a sturdy 1.5″ belt, closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals), and a crew neck (T-shirt) or button-up shirt (no low-cut neckline)-Optional, loading devices.
